Ten titles of NTM were launched at Mysuru during the inaugural session of 40th International Conference of Linguistic Society of India. Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of University of Mysore, Prof. Hemantha Kumar launched these titles. Prof. D. G. Rao, Director, Central Institute of Indian Languages, Mysuru, Prof. Panchanan Mohanty, President, Linguistic Society of India, Prof. K. A. Jayaseelan, EFLU, Hyderabad, Prof. Shailendra Mohan, Secretary, Linguistic Society of India and Dr. Tariq Khan, Officer In-charge, National Translation Mission were the dignitaries who graced the occasion along with the delegates of ICOLSI-40, staff of CIIL and media persons during the launch. As the nation celebrated the 150th birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, NTM released 6 language translations of Hind Swaraj or Indian Home Rule by M. K. Gandhi.
