Translation Work from other Government Agencies/Institutions/Departments taken up
by NTM.
Apart from publishing knowledge texts in collaboration with Indian language publishers,
NTM is also involved in translating different materials of many Government agencies
and institutions. This is a need based initiative to support these agencies and
institutions who want their materials to be translated by a Government body according
to rates prescribed by the Government (click here for rates prescribed by MHRD for NTM works).
Translation is done by the NTM staff themselves in this case. Following are some
of the major works that NTM has completed recently or which are still in progress:

After translation by the NTM staff, the translation was finalised in a workshop
involving experts from the respective language groups. One of the experts commented
during the workshop that the readability of the translated version was better than
the original and many others agreed to it.
